Highlights | The Medical League Uganda 5th Edition, April 2024We had a great warm up session with different teammates leading the exercises and stretch sessions. Grass is definitely slippery when wet but that did not stop us. Symposium Updates | International Neonatal & Maternal Immunization SymposiumWe are excited to announce that our senior Maternal Vaccines team are attending the 6th International Neonatal & Maternal Immunization Symposium (INMIS) in Costa Rica from March 12th to 14th. This symposium is a pivotal event that brings together global experts in the field of neonatal and maternal immunization to exchange knowledge and drive innovation.Our team is set to deliver five dynamic poster presentations, showcasing our commitment to advancing maternal and neonatal health in Uganda and beyond:1. "Feasibility of Utilizing Electronic Health Records for Maternal Vaccine Adverse Event Surveillance in Uganda" - Our innovative approach to monitoring vaccine safety and enhancing maternal health outcomes.2. "Sociodemographic Factors Associated with Established and Novel Antenatal Vaccination Uptake in a Cohort of Pregnant Women in Uganda" - Highlighting our efforts to understand and address barriers to vaccination access among pregnant women.3.
